Disney Cruise Singapore Activities: 12 Best Things to Do on the Disney Adventure (2026–27)
Last updated: 25 September 2026. Rewritten after six months of weekly sailings: shows that were…
Four nights is the sailing we recommend to most people who ask, and the reason is simple: the third full day is the one where the ship stops feeling like a checklist. You board Thursday afternoon and disembark Monday morning — two half days plus three full days.
What that middle day looks like now depends on the date you pick. On most Thursdays it is a third day at sea. On 27 selected sailings between December 2026 – May 2027 and October – December 2027, the ship instead spends Day 3 at Langkawi, Malaysia — ashore from 10:00 AM, back on board by 8:00 PM. Same fare structure, same ship, same departure and return days; you simply trade one sea day for a day on a tropical island.
Either way, the extra night buys you one more show, a farewell dinner, a second go at whichever ride had a long queue on day one, and enough slack that a rainy afternoon does not cost you a themed zone. Per night it costs about the same as the 3-night sailing (roughly $165 against $160 per person at the lowest fares), so the decision is about time, not value. If you are weighing the two, our 3-night page lays out the shorter option honestly.
Until now, every Disney Adventure sailing has been a cruise to nowhere. From 31 December 2026 – 4 January 2027, selected 4-night sailings call at Langkawi, Malaysia on Day 3 — 27 departures in total between December 2026 – May 2027 and October – December 2027. Every other Thursday sailing stays at sea.
Each date is a Thursday departure from Marina Bay, returning the following Monday. The Langkawi call falls on the Saturday.
Disney has kept the ship's promise of being "both the journey and the destination": departure and return days do not change, and most sailings remain sea-only. What changes is choice. Families who wanted a taste of somewhere new — without a longer cruise or a second flight — now get a full day ashore on the longer sailing. Disney points to Langkawi's nature-based experiences, family-friendly activities, local crafts and culture, and the island's rainforests and coastline.
Langkawi is an easy fit. It is an archipelago of 99 islands in the Andaman Sea, Southeast Asia's first UNESCO Global Geopark, and close enough to Singapore to reach between two sea days. The Langkawi Development Authority has called the partnership "an exciting opportunity to introduce a new audience to the destination".
Disney sells about 15 guided tours, from US$19 to US$399. Examples: island hopping from US$49 per adult (US$29 ages 3–9), the SkyCab cable car to the top of Gunung Machinchang at US$139 (US$119 ages 3–9), a Kilim mangrove kayak trip at US$99, and a cooking class at US$399. Tours booked through Disney are timed around the ship.
Popular picks are the SkyCab and SkyBridge, the beach at Pantai Cenang, and the mangroves of the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park. It is cheaper, but you are responsible for being back by 8:00 PM — the ship will not wait for independent travellers.
Nothing says you have to go ashore. With many guests off the ship, it is a good day for the pools, the slides, the spa or a long lunch — and everything included on a sea day is still included.
Dates and times: Langkawi sailing dates and port times are taken from Disney Cruise Line's published itineraries. Port times can change for weather or port operations; always check the itinerary for your exact sailing before you book and in the Navigator app on board.
All fares are in USD for two guests and include taxes, government fees and port expenses. These are the lowest published rates at the time of our last check — peak weeks price considerably higher, which we cover below. Langkawi and sea-only sailings are priced the same way, by date and cabin.
| Stateroom | From (2 guests) | Per person / night | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inside Best value | $1,318 | ~$165 | First-time cruisers and families who plan to be out of the cabin all day |
| Oceanview | $1,765 | ~$221 | Anyone who wants daylight and a sense of where they are |
| Verandah | $1,925 | ~$241 | Your own outdoor space on sea days and port day alike |
| Concierge Premium | $4,416 | ~$552 | Lounge access, priority boarding, free room service |
Disney Cruise Line prices dynamically. The same Inside stateroom on the same ship can differ by 40–75% depending purely on the week you pick. Across the sail dates we have tracked, the pattern is consistent:
If your dates are fixed, book early. If your dates are flexible, move the dates — that lever is worth far more than shopping between resellers.
Pricing note: Fares shown are starting prices in USD for two guests, inclusive of taxes, fees and port expenses. Actual prices vary by sail date, cabin category, availability and promotions, and Disney Cruise Line may change them without notice. We re-check these rates weekly against Disney Cruise Line's own booking platform and authorised reseller channels. Last verified 28 September 2026.
Every departure below leaves Marina Bay Cruise Centre on a Thursday afternoon and returns Monday morning. Disney Cruise Line has released the full schedule through December 2027, and all of it is open for booking. Dates that have already sailed drop off this list automatically, so what you see below is only what you can still book. Dates marked with an anchor call at Langkawi on Day 3.
8 next departure, 8 October 2026 ⚓ calls at Langkawi, Malaysia on Day 3 Sailings run weekly with no seasonal break.
This is how the sailing actually runs, based on the Thursday departures our team has been on. Times shift slightly between sailings, so treat the Navigator app as the authority once you are aboard.
Your Port Arrival Time is assigned during online check-in, in the order guests check in. Luggage drop, check-in, security and immigration have been taking 30–40 minutes end to end. Cabins open early afternoon; bags usually reach the room within half an hour of boarding. On Langkawi sailings, all guests must be aboard by 4:00 PM.
Drop your hand luggage and go straight up — the pool decks are at their emptiest in the first two hours, before most guests are aboard. The Sail Away Party on the upper deck marks the departure from Marina Bay, and the skyline view as the ship pulls out is genuinely one of the better moments of the trip.
The first full sea day is when most people cover Marvel Landing, Toy Story Place and San Fransokyo Street. Ride queues for the IronCycle Test Run are shortest in the first hour after opening and during the evening show slots. Kids' clubs — Oceaneer Club (3–10), Edge (11–14), Vibe (14–17) — run all day with drop-in access.
Evening is your first rotational restaurant and your first stage show. Dinner is at either 5:45 PM or 8:15 PM; the early seating is easier with young children.
On sea-only sailings: this is the payoff for the longer itinerary. With the checklist mostly done, day three is where people slow down — a second run at a favourite ride, the spa's Rainforest Room, an unhurried lunch at Gramma Tala's Kitchen or Mowgli's Eatery, and time on deck that is not spent rushing between zones. It is also a popular slot for adults-only Palo Trattoria, since the kids' clubs are in full swing and nobody is packing yet.
On Langkawi sailings: go ashore from 10:00 AM for island hopping, the SkyCab cable car, the beach or the mangroves, and be back on board by 8:00 PM. Or stay on the ship and enjoy quieter pools. See the Langkawi dates and ideas.
"The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky" is the fireworks-at-sea show, narrated by Shah Rukh Khan, and it is the single moment guests mention most often afterwards. Public upper decks give an excellent free view; the paid Dazzle and Delights dessert party (US$49 per guest) adds reserved viewing but is not necessary.
Settle your onboard account through the Navigator app, and put out your luggage before you go to bed if you want the express walk-off in the morning.
The ship is alongside early and disembarkation runs through the morning, starting from 7:00 AM on Langkawi sailings. Self-carry walk-off is fastest if you kept your bags. If you have a flight the same day, aim for a departure after midday — the terminal to Changi run is 25–30 minutes but immigration queues are unpredictable.
The Disney Adventure is more genuinely inclusive than most cruises sailing out of Singapore. Knowing exactly where the line sits is what stops the onboard bill from surprising you.
Not included: gratuities (US$16 per guest per night); alcohol; Palo Trattoria and Mike & Sulley's Flavors of Asia; bubble tea, Bacha Coffee, TWG Tea and the cafés; Wi-Fi; spa treatments; Langkawi Port Adventures and anything you spend ashore; and — since June 2026 — most room service, which carries a US$5 fee plus an automatic 18% gratuity. The door-hanger breakfast and Concierge orders remain exempt.
Every fare is quoted in USD, so build your local-currency budget on a slightly conservative exchange rate. Beyond the fare, plan for return flights to Changi, one pre-cruise hotel night, and airport transfers of roughly SGD 25–35 each way. The pre-cruise night is the one we push hardest on: same-day arrival works right up until a delayed flight costs you the entire sailing, and a 4-night cruise is not something you can catch up with later. On Langkawi sailings, also budget for ringgit or a card for the day ashore.
Same ship, same zones, same shows, same included dining. The difference is time, how much of the ship you actually get to use, and — on select dates — a day in Langkawi.
Whichever length you choose, you dine in one restaurant from each of the three pairs, so a return trip can show you the other three rooms. For the full ship walkthrough, see our Disney Adventure ship guide, for dates and fares across both sailings the itinerary and price guide, and for our honest verdict the Disney Adventure cruise review.
The date moves the price far more than the cabin tier does. Pull two or three candidate Thursdays from the list above, price the same Inside stateroom across all of them, and you will usually find a few hundred dollars of difference for no change in experience. If a day ashore matters to you, shortlist from the Langkawi dates first.
Inside staterooms on this ship are comfortable — split bathrooms, real storage, Disney-themed finishes — and every cabin tier gets identical access to dining, shows, clubs and rides. If you want a queen bed rather than two singles, look for "Deluxe" in the category name. Pay up for a Verandah if you want private outdoor space; skip it if you know you will be out until midnight anyway.
School holidays, Chinese New Year and December sell out first, along with connecting rooms and anything that sleeps five. Quiet weeks are more forgiving and have sometimes dropped in price closer to sailing.
Your Port Arrival Time is assigned in the order people check in through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Do it the day it opens if you want an early boarding slot — this is the single highest-return 10 minutes of the whole booking process.
Every guest needs a valid passport regardless of nationality, even on a sea-only sailing. On Langkawi sailings you are entering Malaysia for the day, so check whether your nationality needs a visa or pre-arrival registration before you book.

Book a Disney Port Adventure, such as island hopping, the SkyCab cable car up Gunung Machinchang, a Kilim mangrove kayak trip or a cooking class, with prices from US$19 to US$399. You can also explore independently, visit the beach at Pantai Cenang, or stay on the ship.
Every guest needs a valid passport. Because you enter Malaysia for the day, check Malaysia's entry requirements for your nationality before booking. You cannot board or leave the cruise in Langkawi; every sailing starts and ends in Singapore.
Per night they cost about the same at the lowest fares — roughly US$165 against US$160 per person. The 4-night sailing adds a third full day, another show and a farewell dinner, and it is the only length with the Langkawi option. Choose it for time and pace rather than price.
