The best things to do on a Disney cruise from Singapore are: ride the IronCycle Test Run roller coaster, see the original musical Remember, watch The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky fireworks, and walk San Fransokyo Street after dark. Families will spend most of their daylight hours at Toy Story Place and in the kids' clubs. Nearly all of it is included in the fare — and since the ship stays at sea on most sailings, all of it is on board. The exception is a new one: selected 4-night sailings now spend a day in Langkawi.
This guide ranks the Disney Adventure's activities and attractions by how much they add to a 3- or 4-night sailing, with the deck each one is on, who it suits, what it costs, and how to fit the best of it into the time you have.

1. Marvel Landing: The Rides
All three rides are included, with no paid fast pass:
- IronCycle Test Run — Disney Cruise Line's first roller coaster and the longest at sea, with 820 feet (250 m) of track running above the top deck. You ride an Iron Man-style motorcycle while F.R.I.D.A.Y. gives a quick briefing. Riders must be 120–195 cm tall. It is a fun family coaster rather than a thrill machine.
- Pym Quantum Racers — an Ant-Man-themed racer on an oversized toy track, great for the 8–14 age group.
- Groot Galaxy Spin — the gentlest of the three, set to Groot's soundtrack; younger children can ride it.
Tip: the coaster did not run on the maiden voyage but has been reliable since, with the odd closure for weather or maintenance. Queues are shortest on embarkation afternoon, in the first hour after opening and during evening shows; check the Navigator app for how the queue works on your sailing.

2. Toy Story Place: Slides and Splash Zones
The family water zone: Woody & Jessie's Wild Slides, the Sunnyside Pool, the Flying Saucer Splash Zone and a splash pad for small children. Pizza Planet and free soft-serve at Wheezy's Freezies are a few steps away, and Pixar Market's buffet is next door. With children under seven, this is where most of your daylight hours will go.
Tip: on full sailings the slide queues build from late morning. Go on embarkation afternoon or straight after breakfast.

3. Wayfinder Bay: The Quiet Pool Terrace
A Moana-themed tiered pool terrace at the back of the ship, with sea views, the Wayfinder Bar and the outdoor show Moana: Call of the Sea. It is not adults-only, but outside show times it is the calmest open deck on the ship — the place to read a book while the children are in the club.

4. The Shows: Broadway Quality at Sea
This is where the Disney Adventure most clearly outclasses every other cruise sailing from Singapore:
- Remember (Walt Disney Theatre) — an original musical made for this ship. WALL-E and EVE appear as puppets alongside characters from Coco, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. If you see one show, see this one.
- Disney Seas the Adventure (Walt Disney Theatre) — a musical revue of Disney songs, also staged on the Wish, Treasure and Destiny.
- Avengers Assemble! (Garden Stage) — an outdoor stunt show with pyrotechnics.
- Duffy and The Friend Ship (Garden Stage) — the first Duffy show on a Disney ship.
- Moana: Call of the Sea (Wayfinder Bay) — music and puppetry against the open sea.
- Baymax Super Exercise Expo — an interactive, silly workout that small children love.
One show announced before launch, Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen, was cancelled before the maiden voyage, so ignore older guides that list it. Show times are in the Navigator app; on a 3-night sailing you can comfortably see both theatre shows and two or three outdoor ones.

5. Meeting Characters, Makeovers and the Princess Tea
Mickey, Minnie and friends, Disney princesses, Marvel heroes, Baymax and Duffy all appear around the ship. The format has changed since launch — from app-booked sessions to distanced "Selfies at Sea" slots and walk-up meets — and it still varies by sailing. The reliable ways to see characters:
- Character dining — Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy visit at Navigator's Club and Hollywood Spotlight Club. Included.
- The Royal Society for Friendship and Tea — a ticketed princess tea party for ages 3–12, held at Hollywood Spotlight Club.
- Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (Deck 7) — princess and pirate makeovers for ages 3–12. Paid; book early.
- Marvel Style Studio (Deck 6) — superhero hair, make-up and outfits for all ages. Paid. At night it becomes an adults-only speakeasy.
Tip: refresh the Navigator app through the day — walk-up appearances are added at short notice, and the unplanned meetings on deck are often the warmest of the trip.
6. Rotational Dining: Dinner as a Show
Dinner is an attraction in itself. The six restaurants form three sister pairs, and you dine in one from each pair, with the same serving team every night:
- Navigator's Club or Hollywood Spotlight Club — live music and a visit from Mickey and friends.
- Animator's Palate or Animator's Table — the room changes from black-and-white to colour, and guests' drawings are animated on screen in the finale.
- Enchanted Summer or Pixar Market — Tangled and Frozen rooms, or Pixar art, with the most Asian dishes on the menu.

7. Free Snacks, Themed Counters and Shopping
Between meals, six included counters cover most cravings: Mowgli's Eatery (Indian, with plenty for vegetarians), Gramma Tala's Kitchen (Pacific and Asian), Cosmic Kebabs (Ms. Marvel-themed kebabs and wraps), Stitch's 'Ohana Grill (burgers), Pizza Planet and free soft-serve at Wheezy's Freezies. Bubble tea at Bewitching Boba & Brews, Bacha Coffee and TWG Tea are paid.
For shoppers, the ship has nearly 17,000 sq ft of stores, including the first World of Disney on a Disney ship (Deck 5), a dedicated Duffy and Friends shop and a National Geographic store (both Deck 7). Duffy and LinaBell plush are what sell out.
8. Kids' and Teens' Clubs
- "it's a small world" nursery (6 months–3 years, Deck 8) — supervised care, charged by the hour.
- Disney's Oceaneer Club (3–10, Deck 8) — Toy Story, Marvel and Imagineering-themed spaces with trained counsellors. Included.
- Edge (11–14, Deck 7) — tween club hidden behind a shopfront in San Fransokyo Street. Included.
- Vibe (14–17, Deck 7) — teens-only club for films, music and games. Included.
The clubs are open from morning to late evening, so parents get a quiet dinner or an hour at the pool without paying for childcare. For many families this is the single biggest reason the trip feels like a holiday.
9. For Adults: Palo, the Spa and the Bars
One thing to know first: unlike Disney's other ships, the Disney Adventure has no adults-only pool or sun deck. Grown-up time happens here instead:
- Palo Trattoria (Decks 10–11) — adults-only (18+) Italian, US$55 set menu or à la carte.
- Infinite Bliss Spa – Elemis at Sea (Deck 10) — treatments plus the Rainforest Room thermal suite (day and cruise-long passes, paid).
- Themed bars — Spellbound (Evil Queen cocktails), Tiana's Bayou Lounge (jazz and beignets), Buccaneer Bar, Taverna Portorosso and the Infinity Bar by the Marvel Landing pool.
- The speakeasy — Marvel Style Studio turns into an adults-only whisky bar at night.
- Bacha Coffee and TWG Tea (Deck 7) — Singapore's luxury coffee and tea houses, paid.
The drinking age on sailings from Singapore is 18.
10. Disney Imagination Garden and the Lion King Fireworks
The heart of the ship is an open-air courtyard around a three-deck storybook castle — the first castle built into a cruise ship. The Garden Stage hosts Avengers Assemble!, Duffy and The Friend Ship, character moments and deck parties, and two of the best included counters sit around it. If you book a Garden View Verandah, your balcony overlooks it.
Then there is The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky: fireworks over the open ocean, set to music from the film and narrated by Shah Rukh Khan. It is the moment guests mention most. Watch free from the upper open decks — arrive 30 minutes early — or book the Dazzle and Delights dessert party (US$49 per guest) for reserved viewing, desserts and drinks.

11. San Fransokyo Street After Dark
Themed to Big Hero 6, San Fransokyo Street is the best-themed indoor space we have seen on any ship: lanterns, neon, street art and shopfronts layered like a real city street. It holds the Big Hero Arcade, Baymax Cinemas (classic and first-run Disney films, included), Alley Cat Café and the tween and teen clubs. Next door, D Lounge runs family trivia and games and has private karaoke rooms. Walk the street once by day and again after dark — it feels like a different place.

12. New: A Day Ashore in Langkawi
Until December 2026, every Disney Adventure sailing stayed at sea. From 31 December 2026, 27 selected 4-night sailings spend Day 3 at Langkawi, Malaysia — ashore from 10:00 AM, back on board by 8:00 PM. You can book a Disney Port Adventure (about 15 tours, from US$19 to US$399 — island hopping from US$49 per adult, the SkyCab cable car to Gunung Machinchang from US$139), explore on your own, or stay on board and enjoy a quieter ship. Tips to Beat the Queues
- Use embarkation afternoon. Slides and rides are at their quietest while other guests are still boarding. Check in online as soon as it opens to get an early port arrival time.
- Book paid extras the moment your window opens. Makeovers, the tea party and Palo sell out on short sailings.
- Ride during shows. Queues at Marvel Landing drop when the theatre fills.
- Keep the Navigator app open. Show times, character appearances and ride status change through the day.
- Get to the fireworks early. The best free spots on the upper decks fill 20–30 minutes before.
