A Disney cruise from Singapore means one ship: the Disney Adventure, the largest vessel Disney Cruise Line has ever operated at about 208,000 gross tons, and the first it has based in Asia. She sails 3-night cruises every Monday and 4-night cruises every Thursday from Marina Bay Cruise Centre. We sailed the maiden voyage on 10 March 2026 and have tracked fares, cabin availability and onboard changes every week since. For families in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and India, it is the only Disney cruise you can reach without a long-haul flight.
Fares start from US$958 for two guests on a 3-night sailing and US$1,318 on a 4-night sailing. That covers far more than most first-time cruisers expect: dinner in themed rotational restaurants, the included quick-service counters, Broadway-style shows including the original musical Remember, three rides, kids' clubs for ages 3–17 and all seven themed areas. Most sailings stay at sea — the ship is the destination — but from 31 December 2026 selected 4-night sailings also spend a day in Langkawi, Malaysia.

At 208,108 gross tons and 342 metres, the Disney Adventure carries up to about 6,700 guests across 19 decks and roughly 2,110 staterooms. What sets her apart from every other Disney ship: the IronCycle Test Run, Disney's first roller coaster and the longest at sea with 820 feet of track, plus two more rides at Marvel Landing; a three-deck storybook castle in Disney Imagination Garden, the first castle built into a cruise ship; seven themed areas that feel like "lands" in a Disney park; and The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky, a fireworks show at sea narrated by Shah Rukh Khan. The ship was begun as Global Dream for another cruise line and finished by Disney, which is why she is so big — and why her staterooms are more compact than on Disney's purpose-built ships. What surprised us most on board was how different the seven areas feel from one another; three or four days never feels repetitive.
The Disney Adventure has been sailing for six months, and several things are different from what older guides say. These are the updates that affect your trip.

For the first time, the Disney Adventure leaves the open sea for a port. On 27 selected 4-night sailings between December 2026 – May 2027 and October – December 2027, the ship spends Day 3 at Langkawi — a 99-island archipelago off Malaysia's west coast and Southeast Asia's first UNESCO Global Geopark. Departure and return days do not change, the fare works the same way, and going ashore is optional.

Fireworks over the open ocean, set to music from The Lion King and narrated by Shah Rukh Khan. It is the moment guests mention most often after a Disney Cruise Singapore sailing, and it is free to watch from the upper decks — get there 30 minutes early. For a celebration, the paid Dazzle and Delights dessert party (US$49 per guest) adds reserved viewing, desserts and drinks.
The Disney Adventure sails every Monday (3-night) and every Thursday (4-night) from Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, year-round. Disney has released every sailing through December 2027, and dates that have already sailed drop off this list automatically.

How much does a Disney cruise from Singapore actually cost? We have tracked Disney Adventure fares every week since late 2024, against Disney Cruise Line's own rates and authorised resellers. These are the lowest current fares by cabin, in USD for two guests, including taxes, government fees and port expenses. Peak weeks — school holidays, Chinese New Year and December — cost noticeably more.

The date moves the price far more than the cabin. In our records, the cheapest weeks have been October and November outside Deepavali, and non-holiday weeks in late August and September. The dearest are the June school holidays, Easter, Chinese New Year and Christmas–New Year: Concierge over Christmas has been listed as high as $7,798 for two on a 4-night sailing, against a current low of $4,416 for the same category.
Price the whole party. Fares are quoted for two guests. Add third and fourth guests before you compare sites — and check the 2027 offer of 50% off the third and fourth guest on selected sailings.
Budget in your own currency. Disney charges in US dollars, so travellers from India, Malaysia and the Philippines should allow a margin for exchange rates and card fees, plus flights, a pre-cruise hotel night and transfers. The pre-cruise night is the one we push hardest: a delayed flight on sailing day can cost you the whole cruise.
Inside rooms are a fair choice. Every cabin tier gets the same dining, shows, clubs, rides and pools; you are mainly paying for space, light and privacy. One of the biggest surprises for first-time Disney cruisers is how much food is included. After eating across most of the ship ourselves, the Asian and Indian options stand out — they are unique to this ship and consistently get the strongest reviews from regional guests.
Dinner moves through themed restaurants, and the same serving team moves with you. The six restaurants form three "sister" pairs, and you dine in one from each pair: Navigator's Club or Hollywood Spotlight Club (live music and Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy), Animator's Palate or Animator's Table (the room turns from black-and-white to colour and your drawings come to life), and Enchanted Summer — with its Tangled and Frozen rooms — or Pixar Market. Singapore favourites such as Hainanese chicken rice and laksa lemak are on the dinner menus. Seatings are at 5:45 PM and 8:15 PM.
Several of the ship's best-loved spots cost nothing extra: Mowgli's Eatery (Indian, with plenty of vegetarian dishes — a genuine relief for families from India), Gramma Tala's Kitchen (Pacific and Asian plates), Cosmic Kebabs, Stitch's 'Ohana Grill, Pizza Planet and free soft-serve at Wheezy's Freezies, alongside the breakfast and lunch buffets. You can eat very well on this ship without spending a rupee, ringgit or peso beyond your fare.
Palo Trattoria is adults-only Italian (US$55 set menu). Mike & Sulley's Flavors of Asia combines a Japanese steakhouse, teppanyaki, an omakase counter and a sushi bar — and, unlike the paid restaurants on Disney's other ships, it welcomes children. Bubble tea at Bewitching Boba & Brews, the Bacha Coffee and TWG Tea boutiques, the cafés and all bars also charge. Halal-certified meats are available at the table-service restaurants, and Jain meals are offered only on this ship.

After six months of weekly sailings and our own time on board across both the Monday and Thursday itineraries, here is the short, honest verdict. We rate the ship 8.2 out of 10.
What it does brilliantly. Entertainment is the ship's strongest suit. Remember — an original musical with WALL-E and EVE and characters from Coco, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin — is the show to prioritise, and the outdoor Avengers Assemble! wins over every child we have seen watch it. The fireworks, narrated by Shah Rukh Khan, are what people talk about afterwards. San Fransokyo Street, with its lanterns, neon and Big Hero Arcade, is the best-themed space we have seen on any ship, and the included Indian and Asian counters are far better than cruise food usually is. For families with children aged 3 to 10, the kids' clubs are the deciding factor.
What draws criticism. Staterooms are well planned but more compact than on Disney's purpose-built ships, and in the first weeks many guests found the sofa beds used for extra guests had a thin pad instead of a mattress. Character meets have changed format since launch and still vary by sailing. Paid extras are growing — room service, cafés, bubble tea and a paid fireworks party. There is no adults-only pool deck. And the popular app-booked slots, from makeovers to paid dining, go quickly.

Families with children aged 3–10 get the most from the Disney Adventure, but every age group has its own spaces on board — from the nursery to the teen club, the spa and Palo.

The 3-night cruise departs every Monday and suits first-time cruisers, toddlers and short leave. The 4-night cruise departs every Thursday and adds a slower third day, another show and a farewell dinner — and on selected dates, that third day is spent in Langkawi. At the lowest fares both cost about the same per night (roughly US$165 against US$160 per person), so choose on time rather than value. Compare them on the 3-night and 4-night pages.
There are four tiers: Inside (from $958 for 3 nights), Oceanview (from $1,318), Verandah (from $1,438) and Concierge (from $3,298, with a private lounge and sundeck and free room service). Every tier gets the same dining, shows, clubs and rides. No standard room sleeps five, so larger families need two rooms or a Concierge family room. The same cabin can cost 30–50% more in peak weeks. The dearest are the December school holidays, the June mid-year break, Chinese New Year, Easter and Deepavali week; the best value has been October and November outside Deepavali, and non-holiday weeks in late August and September. Budget for return flights, at least one pre-cruise hotel night and exchange-rate costs, since every fare is in US dollars. IndiGo, Scoot, AirAsia and Jetstar fly frequently to Changi from India and across Southeast Asia. Indian passport holders need a Singapore visa, and anyone on a Langkawi sailing should check Malaysia's entry rules too. The Disney Adventure departs from Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS), 61 Marina Coastal Drive, Singapore 018947.
From Changi Airport: about 25–30 minutes by taxi or Grab, roughly SGD 25–35. There is no direct train, so a taxi is the easiest option with luggage. If your flight lands on sailing day, book a pre-cruise hotel night near Marina Bay instead — a delayed flight can cost you the whole cruise.
By MRT: the nearest station is Marina South Pier (North–South Line), about 650 metres or a 10-minute walk from the terminal. With suitcases, a short taxi ride from the station or from the city is usually easier.
On embarkation day: your port arrival time is assigned during online check-in, in the order guests check in, so do it early. Check-in, security and immigration have been taking about 30–40 minutes on the sailings we have covered. Every guest needs a passport — even on a sea-only sailing this is an international voyage. Bags usually reach your stateroom within half an hour of boarding.

This is the question we get most often from regional travellers. The two ships are not sisters: the Disney Wish was designed for Disney, while the Disney Adventure was begun as Global Dream for another line and rebuilt inside by Disney. That explains most of the differences. The Disney Adventure is far bigger (208,000+ gross tons against about 144,000), is the only Disney ship with a roller coaster and a castle, and serves food you will not find on the Wish — Mowgli's Eatery, Gramma Tala's Kitchen, Mike & Sulley's. The Wish has roomier staterooms and regular ports of call; the Disney Adventure is mostly sea-only, with Langkawi on selected sailings. On total cost it is not close for Asian families: flights to Florida plus a Caribbean sailing usually cost several times a Disney Cruise Singapore booking. If you want a Disney cruise from Asia in 2026 or 2027, the Disney Adventure is the only one there is.

Yes, with one caveat. Couples enjoy the shows, the adults-only Palo Trattoria, the spa and the bars, but unlike Disney's other ships the Disney Adventure has no adults-only pool deck, so the pools stay busy and family-focused.

For a 4-night cruise in an Inside stateroom, budget about US$3,000 for two adults and two children: a fare of around US$2,172 (a mid-season quote we priced), US$256 in gratuities at US$16 per guest per night, and about US$560 of moderate onboard spending on drinks, snacks and souvenirs. Flights and hotels are extra, and school-holiday weeks cost 30–50% more.

In the fares we have tracked, October and November have been the cheapest months, outside the Deepavali week, followed by non-holiday weeks in late August and September. The most expensive are the June school holidays, Easter, Chinese New Year and Christmas–New Year. Moving your sail date usually saves more than dropping a cabin tier. Every guest needs a valid passport, whatever their age or nationality — even a sea-only sailing counts as an international voyage. Singapore's visa rules depend on your passport: Indian passport holders, for example, need a Singapore visa, while many ASEAN, US, UK, EU and Australian passport holders can visit visa-free for short stays. On the Langkawi sailings you also enter Malaysia for the day, so check Malaysia's entry rules for your nationality. Yes. Meals with halal-certified meats are available at the table-service restaurants, and Jain meals are offered only on the Disney Adventure. Disney asks you to submit a Special Request in My Reservations at least 35 days before sailing for both. Vegetarian dishes are on every menu, and Mowgli's Eatery serves Indian food with plenty of vegetarian choices. Details are in our dining guide.
Yes, within limits. Since 3 June 2026, each guest of drinking age — 18 and over on sailings from Singapore — may carry on one unopened 750 ml bottle of wine or six beers at embarkation, in hand luggage rather than checked bags. Opening your own wine in a restaurant costs US$20 corkage. Disney sells no unlimited drinks package.
Dress is relaxed. Cruise casual is fine in the rotational restaurants — just no swimwear or tank tops at dinner — and there are no formal nights on this ship. Palo Trattoria and Mike & Sulley's ask for dress-casual or smarter. Pack a light jacket: theatres and restaurants are cool after a day in Singapore's heat. Many families bring Disney costumes, and they are welcome.
Yes, from 6 months old at the time of embarkation. The "it's a small world" nursery looks after babies and toddlers from 6 months to 3 years for an hourly fee, and cots and bed rails are available on request at no charge. Remember that babies count towards your stateroom's maximum occupancy.
Arrive at the port arrival time you choose during online check-in — slots are released in the order guests check in, so check in as soon as it opens if you want an early one. Disney's published itineraries give an all-aboard time of 4:00 PM, and check-in, security and immigration have been taking about 30–40 minutes. If you are flying in, arrive in Singapore the day before rather than on sailing day.
It costs more per night than most other cruises from Singapore, so it depends on what you want. For families with children aged about 3 to 10, the extra buys a lot that is included: Disney shows, fireworks at sea, three rides, themed areas, character dining and kids' clubs that run all day. If you mainly want ports and sightseeing, or nobody in the group cares about Disney, a regular cruise or a land holiday will go further. Most Disney Adventure sailings stay at sea, although selected 4-night sailings now stop at Langkawi.
