Last updated: 6 October 2026. Sizes, beds and amenities checked against Disney's own stateroom pages for the Disney Adventure; fares re-checked this week. Prices are in US dollars for two guests, taxes and port fees included.
The Disney Adventure has four tiers of stateroom — Inside, Oceanview, Verandah and Concierge — and inside each tier, the word "Deluxe" is what changes the beds. Standard rooms have single bench beds and pull-down beds; Deluxe rooms have a queen bed and a sofa bed. Every room outside Concierge sleeps up to four, and fares start at US$958 for two guests on a 3-night cruise. For most couples and families, the best value is a Deluxe Inside and the best all-round room is a Deluxe Oceanview with Verandah.
This guide walks through every room type on the ship: how big it is, how you sleep in it, what it looks out on, what is inside, and what it costs. If your main question is which room fits a family of 3, 4, 5 or 6, our cabin guide for families answers that directly.

Inside Staterooms
Inside rooms are the entry point, and on a short cruise where you are out from breakfast to the fireworks, they make sense for a lot of people. There are three versions:
- Inside — up to 165 sq ft. Two bench beds act as sofas by day and single beds at night, with two more singles that pull down from the wall. Disney lists a foam-pad mattress on the bench beds, so these sleep firmer than the Deluxe rooms.
- Deluxe Inside — up to 209 sq ft, with a queen bed, a double sofa bed and a heavy curtain between them. Parents can read after the children are asleep.
- Deluxe Inside with Reef View — the same Deluxe layout with a window looking into Disney Discovery Reef. You get daylight and something to look at, without paying for a sea view. It exists only on this ship.
Who it suits: couples, budget-minded families of three, and anyone who will only sleep in the room. Watch out for: four people in a Standard Inside — with every bed down there is very little floor. Pay the extra for Deluxe if the adults want to share a bed.
Oceanview Staterooms
The same layouts as Inside, with a large window onto the sea — not a porthole. Disney lists a plush Euro-top mattress in these rooms.
- Oceanview — 165 sq ft, two bench beds plus two upper pull-down beds.
- Deluxe Oceanview — up to 209 sq ft, queen bed and double sofa bed, with a bigger picture window.
Who it suits: families with young children who nap — daylight helps them keep to a routine — and anyone who feels closed in without a window. Oceanview rooms are a small share of the ship's cabins, so they go early on popular dates.
Verandah Staterooms
Most of the ship's rooms have a private balcony with patio furniture. What makes this ship different is that a balcony can face inwards:
- Stateroom with Verandah — 209 sq ft including the balcony, with bench beds and pull-downs. Depending on the room number it can face the sea, Imagination Garden or Discovery Reef, so check before you book.
- Deluxe Oceanview with Verandah — 253 sq ft including the balcony, queen bed and sofa bed, sea-facing. Our first choice for most families.
- Deluxe Garden View with Verandah — the same room with a balcony over Disney Imagination Garden and its outdoor stage.
- Deluxe Reef View with Verandah — the same room overlooking Disney Discovery Reef.
Garden View balconies are a hit with children, who can watch shows from the room, but they are not quiet. As one TouringPlans reviewer put it: "Although they can be a bit noisy at times, the views of the stage shows in Imagination Garden make up for it." If you have early sleepers, choose Reef View or a sea view.
Tip: on most adjoining verandah rooms the partition between balconies can be opened to make one shared balcony — useful if your family books two rooms side by side. Ask your stateroom host on board.
Concierge Staterooms and Suites
Concierge covers everything from Concierge Inside and family verandah rooms to one-bedroom suites and the two Royal Suites. These are the only rooms that sleep five or six, and many are themed — the press preview showed rooms inspired by Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Moana and Marvel.
What Concierge guests get, according to Disney:
- Concierge Lounge on Deck 17 forward, with complimentary food and soft drinks and cocktails at set hours.
- A private sundeck on Deck 19 forward with six whirlpools, a wading pool and a full bar.
- A private spa and fitness area on Deck 18 forward.
- Free Wi-Fi — 24-hour Basic Surf access, one device per guest.
- Earlier booking for activities, up to 123 days before sailing, plus a concierge team to help with Palo, Mike & Sulley's, the spa and the nursery.
- Priority check-in and boarding, a welcome reception, down duvets, a pillow menu, robes and slippers, and a Concierge in-suite dining menu.
The Royal Suites: two of them, the Elsa Suite and the Anna Suite, each 2,461 sq ft including the balconies. They sleep six, with a king bedroom, a children's bunk room, a wall bed, two bathrooms (one with a stand-alone tub), a 65" TV and a whirlpool on the balcony.
Is it worth it? Concierge fares start at US$3,298 for two on 3 nights — about US$1,100 a night. Everyone on board gets the same shows, rides and included food; Concierge buys space, calm and priority. It makes most sense for a family of five or six who want one room, or for a milestone trip. Our cost vs experience review looks at the numbers.
What's Inside Every Disney Adventure Stateroom
- Split bathroom — two doors: one side with a sink and shower, the other with a sink and toilet, so two people can get ready at once. Standard rooms have a shower, not a bathtub.
- Elemis bath and shower products, a hair dryer and Frette linens and towels.
- Mini-fridge, in-room safe, and a kettle with tea and coffee.
- TV — 32" in Standard rooms, 50" in Deluxe rooms.
- Storage — a double-rod wardrobe (open, with no door) and raised beds with space for suitcases underneath.
- Individual climate control.
- Disney, Pixar or Marvel artwork and storybook headboards. You can't choose the theme of a standard room.
- Stateroom host service twice a day, with turndown in the evening.
- Baby gear — a Pack 'n Play cot is free on request, subject to availability.
Power sockets: 230V only
Unlike Disney's other ships, the Disney Adventure has no 110V sockets. Rooms have 230V outlets that take European (Type F), UK and Singapore (Type G) and Chinese (Type I) plugs, plus USB-A and USB-C ports. Disney says devices that are not dual-voltage are not permitted, even with an adapter. Phone and laptop chargers are almost always fine; check older hair tools.
Room service
Room service was free when the ship launched. From early June 2026, a charge of US$5 per order plus an automatic 18% gratuity was widely reported, with breakfast ordered on the door-hanger card still free. Check the Navigator app for the current menu and charges. The included counters are the easier late snack — see our dining guide.
Honest quirks
Rooms are well designed but not perfect. Reviewers have noted the open wardrobes, frosted bathroom doors that let light through at night, and a hair dryer with a short cord. In Standard Inside rooms, the bench beds have a thin foam pad rather than a full mattress — if you sleep badly on firm beds, that alone is a reason to book Deluxe.
Accessible Staterooms
Disney lists 56 accessible staterooms on the Disney Adventure, spread across Inside, Deluxe Inside, Deluxe Oceanview, Verandah, Deluxe Verandah and Concierge family categories. They have a roll-in shower with a fold-down seat, grab bars and adjustable showerhead, ramped thresholds, doors at least 32" wide, lowered peepholes and pull-down wardrobe rails. Book them early and speak to Disney's accessibility team about specific needs.
How to Choose Your Stateroom
- Count your party, babies included. Up to four: any room. Five or six: Concierge, or two rooms.
- Pick the bed. Want a queen? Book a room with "Deluxe" in its name.
- Pick the view. Sea for calm, Garden for action, Reef for action without the stage, Inside to save money.
- Check the room on the deck plan. Staterooms are on Decks 9–18. Midship rooms move least, rooms near lifts save walking, and you want to know what is above and below — pool decks and the Garden Stage are lively. Our deck plan guide helps.
- Book early for unusual rooms. Connecting rooms, Oceanview, Concierge and accessible rooms sell out first, especially in school holidays.
| If you are… | We'd book |
