A Disney cruise from Singapore means one ship: the Disney Adventure, the largest vessel Disney Cruise Line has ever operated and the first it has based outside the United States. She sails 3-night cruises every Monday and 4-night cruises every Thursday from Marina Bay Cruise Centre, with fares starting at US$958 for two guests in an Inside stateroom. Most sailings stay at sea the whole time, although select 4-night voyages from 31 December 2026 now call at Langkawi, Malaysia.
This guide covers what you actually need to plan the trip: the remaining 2026 and full 2027 sail dates, what each cabin category costs, which restaurants and rides are included, the charges that catch first-timers out, and how to get from Changi to the ship. It is written from our own sailings and weekly fare checks, and we update it whenever something changes on board.

What Has Changed Since Launch
The ship has now been sailing for six months, and a few things are different from what was announced before launch. If you read an older guide — including an earlier version of this one — these are the updates that matter:
- Langkawi is on the map. On 26 August 2026 Disney announced that select 4-night sailings from 31 December 2026 through May 2027 will stop at Langkawi on Day 3. It is the ship's first port of call. You can go ashore on your own, book a Disney Port Adventure, or stay on board.
- September–December 2027 dates are open. Disney released the rest of the 2027 schedule in the same announcement, so you can now book any week through the end of 2027.
- Room service is no longer entirely free. From the week of 1 June 2026, most room service orders carry a US$5 charge plus an automatic 18% gratuity. Breakfast ordered on the door-hanger card and Concierge guests are exempt. This applies only to the Disney Adventure.
- One sailing was cancelled. The 7–11 May 2026 voyage was called off after guests had boarded, because of a mechanical issue. Disney refunded the full fare, gave 50% off a future cruise, paid for a hotel night and covered up to US$500 per stateroom in expenses. The ship returned to service on 11 May.
What Is the Disney Adventure?
The Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line's eighth ship and, at 208,108 gross tons, roughly 45% larger than the Disney Wish. She is 342 metres long, 46.4 metres wide and has 19 guest decks — there is no Deck 14, a number many travellers in the region consider unlucky.
She was not designed for Disney. The hull was ordered in 2016 by Genting Hong Kong as Global Dream. When Genting collapsed, Disney bought the unfinished ship in 2022 for about €40 million and rebuilt the interiors from scratch; the reported completion cost was around US$1.8 billion. That history explains the ship's scale, and also why her staterooms are more compact than those on Disney's purpose-built ships.
Under an agreement with the Singapore Tourism Board, the ship is homeported at Marina Bay until at least early 2031. For families in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and India, it is the only Disney cruise you can reach without a long-haul flight.

Disney Cruise Singapore Sail Dates: 2026 and 2027
The pattern is simple and has not changed since the second week of service: 3-night cruises leave every Monday and return Thursday morning, and 4-night cruises leave every Thursday and return Monday morning. Both depart in the afternoon from Marina Bay Cruise Centre.

Dates follow Disney's weekly pattern. Individual sailings can be withdrawn for dry dock or charter, and some 4-night sailings between January and May 2027 include the Langkawi stop — always check the itinerary on the exact date before paying. 3 nights or 4 nights?
A 3-night cruise gives you two full sea days. That is enough to see all seven themed areas, ride the three attractions and catch two or three shows, but not enough to repeat anything. It suits first-time cruisers, families with toddlers and anyone flying in on limited leave.
A 4-night cruise adds a third full day, one more dinner rotation and one more show night. The fare is usually 35–40% higher for the same cabin, but it works out cheaper per night, and it is the only way to get the Langkawi stop. If your dates are flexible, it is the one we would book.
What a typical sailing looks like
- Day 1, Singapore: Board at your assigned port arrival time. Check-in, security and immigration usually take 30–40 minutes. Head for the pools or Marvel Landing first — they are quietest while others are still boarding. The "Let's Set Sail" deck party marks the departure.
- Day 2, at sea: The themed areas, your first rides and the first evening show. Kids' clubs run all day.
- Day 3, at sea or Langkawi: On standard sailings, another full day on board — often the day guests remember most. On Langkawi sailings, the ship spends the day in port.
- Final night: "The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky" fireworks, the last rotational dinner, and bags out before bed if you want the fast walk-off.
- Disembarkation, Singapore: Back at Marina Bay early morning. Allow until midday before any same-day flight.
On a 3-night cruise, Day 3 is the last full day; on a 4-night cruise, there is one more sea day before the final night.
The Seven Themed Areas, Rides and Shows
The ship is organised into seven themed areas, the way a Disney park is. They genuinely feel different from one another — lighting, music and crowd change as you walk between them — which is why three days on board rarely feels repetitive.
1. Disney Imagination Garden
The centre of the ship, built around a three-deck storybook castle. The Garden Stage hosts Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen, Duffy and The Friend Ship and daytime character appearances. Gramma Tala's Kitchen and Mowgli's Eatery, two of the best included counters, are here.
2. Marvel Landing
All three rides are here, and all are included in the fare:
- IronCycle Test Run — Disney's first roller coaster at sea and the longest on any ship, with an 820-foot (250 m) track running above the top deck. It is a family coaster rather than a thrill ride. Queues are shortest in the first hour after opening and during evening show times.
- Pym Quantum Racers — Ant-Man-themed mini racers on an oversized toy track; shorter waits than IronCycle most of the day.
- Groot Galaxy Spin — the gentlest of the three and the one younger children can ride.
3. Toy Story Place
The water zone, with Woody and Jessie's Wild Slides, the Flying Saucer Splash Zone, a splash pad for small children and the Sunnyside Family Pool. Pizza Planet and Wheezy's Freezies (soft-serve) are next door. With under-sevens, this is where most of your daylight hours go.
4. Disney Discovery Reef
An underwater-themed dining and shopping area inspired by The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Lilo & Stitch and Luca. Stitch's 'Ohana Grill and Cosmic Kebabs are here, along with Bewitching Boba and Brews. It is the calmest place to find a seat in the afternoon.
5. San Fransokyo Street
Themed to Big Hero 6, with lanterns, neon signage, the Big Hero Arcade, the Hiro Training Zone simulator and Baymax Cinema, which shows Disney classics and first-run films. Walk it after dark.
6. Town Square
The princess area. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique does makeovers for ages 3–12 (extra charge), and the Royal Society for Friendship and Tea is a ticketed tea party. Two of the rotational restaurants are here, so it gets busy before each dinner seating.
7. Wayfinder Bay
A Moana-themed tiered pool deck with ocean views and the poolside show Moana: Call of the Sea. It is not adults-only, but outside show times it is usually the quietest open deck on the ship.

Shows and entertainment
Entertainment is the ship's strongest point. The headline productions are:
- Remember — an original musical made for this ship, weaving WALL-E, Coco and Aladdin into one story.
- Avengers Assemble! — an outdoor stunt show that uses the deck architecture, not just a stage.
- Disney Seas the Adventure — a musical revue of Disney songs.
- Moana: Call of the Sea, Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen and Duffy and The Friend Ship — the three outdoor shows.
- The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky — fireworks at sea, narrated by Shah Rukh Khan. The upper decks give a good free view; a paid dessert party (around US$49 per guest) offers reserved viewing, which we don't think is necessary.
Character meets have changed format several times since launch, moving between app-booked sessions and walk-up "Selfies at Sea". Which one you get still varies by sailing, so don't plan a trip around meeting one particular character.
Kids' clubs
- It's a Small World Nursery — 6 months to 3 years, hourly fee.
- Disney's Oceaneer Club — ages 3–10, included.
- Edge — ages 11–14, included.
- Vibe — ages 14–17, included.
The clubs are staffed by trained counsellors and run with drop-in access. Parents we talk to rate them as the single biggest reason the trip felt like a holiday for adults too.
Dining on the Disney Adventure
Dinner works on Disney's rotational dining system. You are assigned one of two rotations and eat at a different themed restaurant each night, with the same serving team moving with you. Because the ship is so large, each restaurant has a "twin":

On a 3-night cruise you visit all three restaurants in your rotation; on a 4-night cruise you repeat one. Menus lean into the region — Hainanese chicken rice and laksa lemak sit alongside Western dishes. Dinner is at 5:45 PM or 8:15 PM, and you choose during online check-in; the early seating is easier with young children.
Included quick-service counters
This is where first-timers underestimate the fare. None of these cost extra:
- Mowgli's Eatery — Indian, with plenty of vegetarian dishes.
- Gramma Tala's Kitchen — Pacific and Asian dishes; consistently the most praised counter.
- Stitch's 'Ohana Grill — burgers and grilled plates.
- Cosmic Kebabs — kebabs, shawarma and falafel bowls.
- Pizza Planet and Wheezy's Freezies — pizza and soft-serve by the pools.
Vegetarian, Jain, halal and allergy requirements can be logged during online check-in, and the dining team follows them across every restaurant in your rotation.
Venues that cost extra
- Palo Trattoria — adults-only (18+) Italian. Book as soon as your window opens.
- Mike & Sulley's Flavors of Asia — a Japanese steakhouse, teppanyaki room, omakase counter and outdoor sushi bar. Unlike Disney's specialty restaurants on other ships, it welcomes children.
- Bewitching Boba and Brews — bubble tea and specialty drinks, around US$7–8 each.

Onboard spending is charged in US dollars to your stateroom account. Families who stick to included dining and skip paid extras can keep the onboard bill close to just gratuities.
Stateroom Types and Prices
There are 2,111 staterooms across four main tiers. Every tier gets the same access to dining, shows, rides and clubs; a higher category buys space, light and shorter queues, not a better cruise. Most cabins have Disney's split bathroom, with the toilet separate from the shower.

Peak weeks — Singapore school holidays, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and December — price 20–40% higher. Concierge over Christmas has been listed as high as US$7,798. Fares move daily, so treat these as a starting point.
Inside staterooms
The cheapest way on board. Rooms sleep up to four and are more compact than on the Disney Wish, because the hull was designed for another operator, but storage is good and the theming is thorough. If you plan to be out from breakfast to fireworks, this is the sensible choice.
Oceanview staterooms
Same footprint as an Inside room, with a window. Worth it if a dark room bothers you or you have young children who nap during the day.
Verandah staterooms
The one upgrade we think is worth paying for on a cruise to nowhere, because a balcony is the only private outdoor space you get. One catch: Garden View and Reef View verandahs face inward, over Disney Imagination Garden or Discovery Reef, not the ocean. They are great for watching shows, but if you want sea views, check the category name before you pay.
Concierge staterooms and suites
Priority check-in, a private lounge and sundeck, a dedicated concierge team and earlier booking windows for Palo and activities. Concierge guests are also exempt from the room service fee. The two top suites on Deck 18 are themed to Elsa and Anna.

Before You Sail: Documents, Getting There and Practical Tips
Passports and visas
- Everyone needs a passport, including Singaporeans, even on a sailing with no port. You clear immigration when you board and again when you return.
- Indian passport holders need a Singapore visa, applied for online through an authorised visa agent. Because you leave and re-enter Singapore on the cruise, confirm with your agent that your visa allows re-entry before you book flights.
- SG Arrival Card: all visitors arriving in Singapore by air submit this free online form within three days before arrival. It is not a visa.
- Langkawi sailings: check whether your passport needs anything to enter Malaysia. If you are not sure, you can stay on board.
Getting to Marina Bay Cruise Centre
- From Changi Airport: 20–30 minutes by taxi or Grab, roughly S$25–35. With luggage, this is the easiest option.
- By MRT: the nearest station is Marina South Pier on the North–South Line, about 650 metres from the terminal. From Changi it takes about an hour with changes — fine with carry-ons, hard work with suitcases.
- From city hotels: a 5–15 minute taxi from Marina Bay or the CBD.
Planning tips that actually make a difference
- Fly in the day before. A delayed flight on sailing day can cost you the whole cruise, and there is no catching up. One night near Marina Bay is the best money you will spend on the trip.
- Do online check-in on day 30. Check-in opens 30 days before sailing in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, and port arrival times go roughly in check-in order. Early slots mean more time on board.
- Book Palo and paid experiences the moment your window opens. They fill quickly on a short sailing.
- Plan meals around the free counters. With the room service fee, the included quick-service venues are the better late-night option.
- Pack for heat and rain. Singapore is 26–33°C year-round, with heavier showers from November to January. Sockets are the three-pin UK type.
- Add a day in Singapore. Gardens by the Bay is ten minutes from the terminal; Sentosa and Universal Studios Singapore need a full day. See our Singapore attractions guide.
How to Book a Disney Cruise from Singapore
You can book directly with Disney Cruise Line at disneycruise.disney.go.com, through an authorised travel agent, or through an online platform such as Trip.com, Klook or KKday. Whichever you use, the cruise contract is with Disney, and changes or refunds go through whoever holds your booking.
- Pick the date first. The week you sail moves the price far more than the cabin tier does. Price the same Inside room across three or four dates before deciding.
- Choose the cabin. Inside for value, Verandah for private space, Concierge if the budget allows. Check whether a verandah faces the sea or the inside of the ship.
- Pay the deposit. The amount is shown at booking; Disney moved most new bookings to a 10% deposit in 2025.
- Pay the balance before the final payment date. For 3- and 4-night sailings this is usually around 90 days before departure — your reservation shows the exact date, and missing it cancels the booking.
- Check in online 30 days out, choose your dinner seating, and add dietary requirements.

When to book
- Peak weeks (school holidays, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, December): book 6–12 months ahead. Verandahs and cabins for five sell out first.
- Off-peak weeks (late April, May, September): 3–4 months ahead is usually enough, and these are the cheapest dates.
- Last minute: inside a month, fares tend to rise rather than fall on this ship.

Is a Disney Cruise from Singapore Worth It?
For families with children between about 3 and 15, yes — the entertainment, rides and kids' clubs are ahead of anything else sailing from Singapore, and more is included than on most regional cruises. Couples without children will still enjoy the shows and food, but should know there is no adults-only pool deck and the ship is busy.
The trade-offs are real: staterooms are smaller than on Disney's US ships, room service now costs extra, and fares are well above other cruises from Singapore. Measured against flying to Florida for a Disney cruise, though, the total trip cost for a family from India or Southeast Asia is a fraction.
